Spot-check a single IMEI
A buyer drops a sample IMEI in chat. Paste it into IMEI Check before you reply: 15-digit format, Luhn checksum, TAC region. Two seconds of work.
Validate the full manifest
Once a counterparty shares the lot CSV, run the whole list through Bulk IMEI Checker. Anything that fails format or Luhn is a manifest error to fix before you pay for a paid GSMA lookup.
Decode the GSMA flag
When a paid IMEI service returns a status code, the GSMA Status Decoder tells you what each flag means for resale and what the recommended action is.
What these tools don't do
They run mechanical checks: format, Luhn checksum, TAC lookup, GSMA-flag interpretation. They do not query the live GSMA blacklist, iCloud Activation Lock, MDM enrollment, or carrier-lock status, because those require server-side database access and a paid service.
